Retainer engagements include a defined consultation access structure, documented response protocols, and periodic portfolio health reporting. Project-based engagements deliver scope-specific advisory outputs. All engagements include access to The Lab’s network of specialist advisors across HVAC design, IAQ, building envelope, moisture investigation, and energy performance disciplines.

Why Independence Matters

Building Science Advisors retainer fee is the only revenue we receive from the engagement. We have no equipment to sell, no remediation capacity to fill, and no incentive to recommend work beyond what the building actually requires.
