Throughout his career, Don has helped bridge the gap between engineering theory and field execution. His expertise includes commissioning and retro-commissioning, testing and balancing, preventive maintenance planning, energy efficiency retrofits, and mechanical system optimization across laboratories, hospitals, institutional facilities, and complex commercial buildings.
As former Technical Service Manager for ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America), Don played a significant role in advancing the HVAC industry by developing national training programs, contributing to mechanical codes and technical standards, and authoring educational materials used by thousands of HVAC professionals throughout North America.
